I love all the rich and varied culture of Louisiana. The plantations have always been a popular tourist attraction. One of my favorite plantations is the Laura Plantation in Vacherie (pronounced: Vash er ree). I like it so well because it isn't the "typical" plantation. Thought y'all might enjoy some of the pictures I took on our last visit!
